I just caught this today a quiet show of ceramics curated by Frank Gehry at Frank Lloyd Gallery, some inneresting things....top to bottom Frank Gehry, Peter Voulkos, Peter Shire.
supposedly Gehry's entrance into making things and architecture was through ceramics at USC with Glen Lukens. SW's recent post on that thrashed property was built for Lukens, I believe with a studio on the property......
...due to spelling mistakes!.....the cool school documentary has interviews with Gehry and shows some of his earliest work-also his relationship/admiration for some of the artists he curated into this show.

i particularily like Peter Voulkos' work also, very raw and more than a little Franz Kline. Nice.
