Crow Island School (1939-40)

Eero's first wife, Lily Swann Saarinen was commissioned to create 23 glazed ceramic sculptures that were incorporated into the interior and exterior walls of the school. Made by Maija Grotell's Cranbrook studio in Michigan.

Carved Inuit Otter, it could be antler or walrus tooth~mid century or earlier from shebay.
